How Trendex Works 🤔
🤔 What is Trendex?
Trendex is a platform that allows you to buy/sell cards of your favorite talents and future stars. You can enlist your talents in your team for the tournament to try to win thousands of euros each week or simply keep your shares to enjoy a monthly return on your cards. Before that, let's take a look at the different phases of the platform starting with the introduction of new talent.
🔥 Launching New Talent on the Platform
The introduction of new talents takes place twice a week, on Tuesday at 7:00 PM and Thursday at 7:00 PM (French time). When a launch is announced, you can find the countdown before its sale in the "Trading" tab, in the first position. A launch announcement is usually made via our social networks (Discord, Instagram, Twitter, and Telegram).
During the sale, the concept is simple: first come, first served! The purchase is made between the users and the concerned talent until all available shares are sold out. When there's a "soldout" of the sale (this can range from 7 days to only a few seconds), the talent's market becomes a secondary market, and the resale option is activated.
🤝 Secondary Market
Accessible in the "**Cards**" tab, this market is the place for buy-sell transactions between platform users. To purchase a card from users, simply click on the talent you want to buy, then on the "get cards" button.
Several indicators should be considered when you want to buy a card:
Card Category: Legend, Champion, Contenders, and Rookie are categories of cards to consider especially for your selection choice in the tournament. Indeed, the card category will impact the league entry conditions in the tournament as well as in the selection of your talents. Trend Score: Only considered during Trends Tournaments, this score is calculated based on the talent's influence on their social networks (Instagram and YouTube mainly).
Sporting Score: There are two types of sporting scores:
Football Score: As in the example above, it is characterized by a "Football" icon. Its score is only considered in Football tournaments. The score is calculated based on the talent's last 5 matches played via our API. The data taken into account can be found on well-known sites like BeSoccer.
Basketball Score: It is characterized by a "Basketball" icon. Its score is only considered in Basketball tournaments. The score is calculated based on the talent's last 5 matches played via our API. The data taken into account can be found on well-known sites like Proballers. Price/Card: Before any purchase, the purchase price per card must be considered. The price varies in real-time depending on supply and demand, so stay alert as prices can skyrocket as well as become very affordable to start.
Maximum Monthly Bonus: This indicator is interesting for those who want to earn a return each month. Every month, a bonus is paid to all users who have kept cards of talent(s) eligible for the monthly bonus.
Available Cards: This indicator allows you to know in real-time how many cards are for sale by other users and Trendex.
Instant Trading: Present on certain talents, this logo is a significant factor. All talent profiles that have this logo on their purchase page are eligible for instant buy and sell with the Trendex platform. The price varies depending on the number of sales and purchases to the liquidity reserve allocated to this talent. If the talent you wish to sell or buy does not have this logo: The sale will be made via a classic market of buying and selling from other users, which can impact the delay in case of resale.
🏆 Tournaments
Every Tuesday at 10:00 PM and Thursday at 10:00 PM, the kickoff of the Trendex tournaments takes place. This is the ideal place to compete against other players on the platform with a common goal: to be the best and win a large part of the cash prize of several thousand euros at stake each week. To participate in the tournament, go to the "Tournament" tab.
There are 3 types of tournaments: Trends Tournament, Basketball, and Football. Each tournament has its own score as mentioned above. To learn more about participating in each tournament, we invite you to consult the detailed articles: Football and Basketball.
